Sam Chipman

Mr. Chipman joined the Information Technology and Telecommunications Laboratory of Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) in April 1999. He began as a member of the team developing and maintaining the Southwest Border States Anti-Drug Information System (SWBSADIS) (now Criminal Information Sharing Alliance (CISA) Net). He contributed to the design and development of the RISSIntel–SWBSADIS gateway and the SWBSADIS security infrastructure. His current assignment includes the re-design and development of the Justice Information Exchange Model (JIEM) Modeling Tool for SEARCH. Mr. Chipman is a 1987 graduate of the State University of West Georgia with a B.S. in Mathematics. He has also worked for AT&T, ADP, and McKesson, and as an independent consultant.
