Ms. Plummer, Justice Information Systems Specialist, works on several projects focused on the development of integrated justice information systems planning and implementation, including the Justice Information Exchange Model (JIEM) project. Ms. Plummer provides training, technical assistance and research on automated systems development, automation planning, and integration of justice information systems to justice agencies nationwide. Ms. Plummer is a key participant in national justice data exchange standards efforts, including Legal XML. She is a member of Global Justice Information Sharing Initiative Emerging Technology and Infrastructure Committees, the Law Enforcement Information Technology Standards Council, and is on the board of the Justice Information Sharing professionals (JISP). Ms. Plummer serves on the Global XML Structure Task Force, and has been a participant in the development of the Global JXDM and the Global Justice Data Dictionary. She also led the effort within the Integrated Justice Working Group of OASIS/Legal XML to develop XML specifications for justice agency disposition reporting and sentencing. Ms. Plummer has developed numerous technical courses and presentations focused on interoperability in the criminal justice enterprise, enterprise architecture, Justice XML, and the practical and policy benefits of component re-use.
